1. How do I find the full text to an article?

For electronic access search the NYIT Journal Locator using the journals name.  For print access search the library catalog by entering the title and selecting periodical title.

2. What do I do if you do not own an item?

You can either a) search WorldCat and locate a copy in the city, or b) speak with a librarian who will attempt to have the item delivered from another location.

3. Is it possible to e-mail a librarian?

4. Where are the Computer Science and Engineering items located in the Manhattan Library?

Computer Science and Engineering books are located on the first floor of the Manhattan Library in the tall white shelving units.  Books are located in three areas:

1. Reserve: Reserve books are located behind the 2nd floor Circulation Desk.  These are high demand items available for 3 hours at a time.
2. Reference: The call numbers on reference books always begins with REF.  Typically, these will include dictionaries, almanacs, and encyclopedias.  Reference books may not leave the library.
3. Circulating:  The largest collection by far, circulating books may be checked out for 2 weeks and renewed for an additional 2 weeks.  When you enter the second floor, these are located on your left side in the tall white shelving units.

5. How do I connect to the wireless internet in the library?
