FCWR 161-Dr. Athanasiou-Krikelis: Finding articles at NYIT

Finding articles at NYIT

Articles are published in many journals and publications since no databases contain all articles available, you should start using your keywords in the One Search tab on the library web page.

  • If you already know you your topic, you can browse by subject
    • Librarians have already gathered all the information you need by topic!

  • Limit your search by using Boolean terms

  • Search the library databases!
    • Check for Full Text and Peer-Review article

  • Narrow results by:
    • Publication date
    • Publication title
    • Subject
    • Source type
    • Document type
    • Location
    • Language
  • When you find an article you like, CHECK THE REFERENCE, it could lead you to resources related to your research.

What if the library doesn't have it?

Current students, faculty, and staff can request articles and books that are not available in our collection through Interlibrary loan.
