Medical Board Prep

This guide provides students with access to a variety of print and electronic review resources relating to the COMLEX, the USMLE, and clinical subject exams.

What is the purpose of this guide?

  • Provide students with access to a variety of print and electronic resources relating to the COMLEX, the USMLE, and clinical subject exams.
  • Encourage quality study habits and prepare students for success on all board exams.
  • Familiarize students with the types of resources available through the NYITCOM Library collections and databases.

How is this guide organized?

Navigating the guide is done via the side panel. Resources are divided by test level, subject (foundational/basic sciences or clinical sciences), or resource type. Practice Questions appear on a separate page for easy access, although several ebooks link to review questions.

In this guide, titles are divided into ebooks and prints books. There are separate print holdings tabs for the Long Island and Arkansas libraries, respectively. Make sure you select the correct tab for your campus in the print box.

Titles are in alphabetical order. On the COMLEX/USMLE pages, Osteopathic/COMLEX-specific print titles appear above the line in alphabetical order. General/USMLE-specific print titles appear below the line in alphabetical order. Articles (the, a, etc.) are ignored.

If you encounter any difficulties finding a resource, you can try using the search box located at the top of each page.

If you have any issues with accessing resources in this guide or would like more information on board prep, please contact your respective library:
