Predatory Publishing, Retractions and Preprints

This guide will give you tips on what to look out for in predatory publishing and how to find retracted publications

What is a Preprint?

A Preprint is a scholarly publication printed on a public server but has not yet been peer-reviewed. Many preprint papers are later published in a scholarly journal. There is much controversy about the quality of preprint articles since they have not been critiqued. One advantage is that an article can obtain quicker visibility because it is available in a quicker timeline.
