Innovation Labs
The New York Institute of Technology Library Innovation Labs provides a place for students from all disciplines to explore specialized technology resources to take their innovative and collaborative projects to the next level.
3D Printing
Our 3D printing services are available to all students. Both libraries are equipped with MakerBot and LulzBot 3D printing devices. Please reserve a time slot to print in Manhattan or at Salten Hall. Come in anytime for assistance with preparing your models for printing and determining the estimated print time.
Electronics
The Innovation Labs houses a variety of resources and tools for electronics prototyping, computer programming, and software development. We have Arduino and Raspberry Pi’s and accessories for complex circuitry.
Virtual Reality
We currently have the Oculus Go, Quest and Rift, HoloLens, DayDream and HTC Vive devices for use in and outside of the library.
Multimedia Production
When it comes to creating your own videos or audio recordings, having the latest in camera and software technology is a must. With stabilized camera equipment, tripods and mounting accessories, you can produce high quality videos with ease.
