The following databases contain company data. For access and a quick guide to starting your company research, click the links below or use the drop-down menu above.

What To Look For:

Sometimes, databases use different terms to describe the same types of items. If you're researching a particular company in the databases above, you'll want to look for company overviews, company profiles, company reports, SWOT analyses, annual reports, 10-K forms, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, or proxy statements. These documents will contain key information about companies, including current leadership, company history, and the financial health of the company and its holdings. NOTE: Because of strict regulations governing the financial disclosures of public companies (companies owned in part by shareholders), much of the data above will available for public companies. However, it is difficult to find most of the above information on PRIVATELY HELD companies. If you're researching a privately held company, use PrivCo.

Note to Alumni

Due to licensing issues, only current students, faculty, and staff have remote access to library databases. However, alumni are welcome to visit any of our four library locations to use electronic resources on-site. Resources available to alumni remotely are available here.
