The NCARB ARE 5.0 Guidelines
With the migration to PSI, the ARE Handbook has been merged with the ARE Guidelines. This document includes all policies and procedures for taking the ARE, as well as information about the content covered in each division of the exam.

You’ll need a Record to report AXP experience, start the ARE, earn your initial license, and apply for an NCARB Certificate. On your My NCARB homepage, click “Add” next to the NCARB Record option.

NCARB has released free, full-length practice exams for each division of ARE 5.0. There are two modes of administering the ARE 5.0 Practice Exams.
