Getting News from Professional Sites

During your career you may choose to have relationships with professional organizations in your areas of expertise. As well as professional development opportunities and career support these organizations also provide information which can be tracked using RSS.

For example:

  • Many organizations publish blogs covering the latest developments in a particular field. Here is the blog for American Institute of Architects, New York Chapter. Typically, all blogs provide an RSS feed.
  • Many organizations publish journals who's tables of contents can be monitored using RSS. The Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) offers RSS feeds for all of the latest issues of its publications.
