Best Practices

  • If teaching in a computer lab, open your course page on each computer's brwoser before your students arrive.
  • Email professors a link to your page in advance of their visit. Encourage instructors to distribute the link to students via email or the LMS. 
  • Create a friendly URL that students can easily type into their browser on their personal or school-issued device. 
  • Provide a QR Code to provide students immediate access on their mobile device. 

Getting the Guide to Your Students

Create an easy-to-remember web address utilizing the friendly URL feature.

QR Code

Generating a QR (quick response) code can be particularly helpful when your students are relying on mobile devices. Students can quickly scan and access the guide just by capturing the code on their smartphone or tablet. The following tools will help you generate a QR code.
