When someone submits an Intra library loan place a hold for the patron.
Circulation module >> Discover Items search for title

Select the Title to open the item then select View/Edit

Review the number of holds at the top of the item then click View/Edit to place the hold.

Place hold by clicking the item on the top right

Fill the place hold form:
Patron: barcode or change to name by click on the down arrow.
Pickup institution: by default is the owning library and can be changed to patrons’ pickup location requested.
Hold: Start date is today’s date by default and End date is not required unless you want to restrict the length of time the book can be on hold.
Suspend: Is a start and end date to put future dates for the item to be on hold.
Prioritize: Can be used to move patron to the top of a hold list that is greater than 1.
Note: Public note will display on catalog and staff note will be visible in WMS.
Click the place hold button to complete the hold for a patron.
The circulation desk at Library A can now retrieve the holds item by reviewing Circulation >> Reports

You have the option to print or select the ellipses to decline the hold request or edit the hold information if necessary.
Library A to pull the book from the shelves.
From Circulation >> Check In scan the barcode which will place the book in transit status
Before scanning the barcode you can choose to print a packing slip to the network printer:

After Library A scanned the barcode you will see the In Transit status:

Now you are ready to pack the book and send to the receiving Library B.

Library B to review the Circulation >> Reports >> Pickup Location which allows for final changes.
You have the option to print or select the ellipses to decline the hold request or edit the hold information if necessary.

At Library B circulation desk in WMS select From Circulation >> Check in scan the barcode.

Notification is sent to patron that Hold is ready for pickup. Notification sent around 7:00 AM the following day.
Once the book is returned to Library B, check in the item, setting the Action status to Route to Library A and send the item back to Library A via inter-office mail.

Once received by Library A, from Circulation >> Check In scan the barcode which will notify circulation desk to Reshelve the item.
