About the NYIT Accessibility Office

The NYIT Office of Accessibility Services is available to assist with referrals and support services on campus. The Office serves as an advocate for students with disabilities, providing notifications to faculty and staff about relevant accommodations required by students as well as informing students about services offered and how to access them. In addition to in-classroom accommodations such as note-taking assistance, the Office also offers Sensus Access.

Sensus Access

  • Software embedded directly on the NYIT website that converts documents into a variety of media (such as PDF to MP3)
  • Training is available through the Office of Accessibility Services at accessibility@nyit.edu

For more information about the services that the Office of Accessibility Services provides, please visit the website or contact the Office.
