Tips for More Accessible Presentations

When presenting in or for a class, it's important that the information provided is accessible to everyone in your audience. Here are some helpful tips for making your work accessible to all audiences:

  • Keep a dyslexic-friendly font for text.
    • Arial and Comic Sans are good fonts to use.
  • Increase font size to be legible from far distances.
  • Avoid italics or underlined text.
  • Provide captions for any videos or audio presentations -- and be sure to edit the captions for accuracy!
