How to Access New York Times Op-Ed Articles: Home

Instructions

  1. Click the link ProQuest Central. This is an NYIT Library subscription database. The library subscribes to many. They can be accessed from off-campus.
     
  2. Enter the search phrase PUB(new york times) And DTYPE(op-ed).
     
  3. Sort your results by Publication date (most recent first).
     
  4. To limit articles to specific topics add a keyword, or subject. Advanced search is very powerful. Command line is very specific. A search for op-ed articles about privacy would appear as follows:

    DTYPE(op-ed) AND pub(new york times) AND privacy
