Summer 2021 Library Updates

As of Monday, June 21, Long Island Library will only be open by appointment due to construction in the building.

• Virtual Hours Monday- Friday:
  • 8am-5pm

• Monday - Thursday:
  • 5am – 5pm: Virtual
    9am – 5pm: Open
• Friday:
  • 9am-5pm: Virtual

Available Spaces:

• 1st Floor: currently unavailable.
• 2nd Floor: limited seating and services available; desktops, study tables/carrels.
• 3rd Floor: Innovation Labs.

The hours for Education Hall Art & Architecture Library, Room 101 starting June1st are:

• Monday - Tuesday, Thursday - Friday: 8am-5pm: Virtual
• Wednesdays -  
  • 9am - 5pm: Open

• Open 8am – 10pm: Monday to Friday.
• Open 10am – 4pm: Saturday & Sunday.
• Book drop located outside of library.
• Reserve a group study room.

Onsite services and spaces are restricted to current NYIT students, faculty, and staff. General public access will not be permitted.
