Capturing, Annotating, and Saving a Screenshot

Step 1. Hover over the Jing ball and click the capture node.

Step 2. Place the cursor in the upper most corner of the area you want to capture. Click and hold the left mouse button, and drag the cursor until the area you wish to capture is selected. Let go of the left mouse button.

Step 3. Click the IMAGE icon to capture the highlighted portion of the screen as a screenshot.

Step 4. A window with your image and annotation tools will appear. Select a tool to annotate your screenshot. If you do not wish to annotate the screenshot, skip to the next step.

Step 5. Choose a destination for your screenshot. If you wish to save to your computer, click the floppy disc icon and choose a location. Do not proceed to the next step. If you wish to save to screencast.com, click the screencast.com icon, and proceed to

Step 6. If you have chosen to upload to Screencast.com, click VIEW ON SCREENCAST.COM.

Step 7. Click SHARE to get the screenshot link and/or embed link.

Step 8. Click COPY to copy the link or embed code for the screenshot.
