Search by keywords or author 

• If you are looking for a book written by a particular author, choose "in Author" in the drop down box and search by author's name
• If you are looking for a specific title, leave it on "Keyword" and search by title
• If you are looking to see what books we have on your research topic, leave it on "Keyword" and search using keywords 

Location and Types of Books 

Once you are on the result page, check to see which NYIT Library has a copy of the book you are interested in and what type of book it is. 

• Standard Shelving Location means it is a book you can check out to take home
• Reserve books can be borrowed for 3 hours 
• Reference book must be used in the library
• If you see the word "Click Here," it is an eBook (You must login using your myNYIT login for off campus access)

Books available in the NYIT Manhattan Library

If you would only like to see only books available in the NYIT Manhattan Library, scroll down to the bottom of the result page and choose Manhattan Library in the "library" drop-down box. Note that if a book you want is available in one of Old Westbury libraries, you can request an intra-library loan by filling out the Intra-Library Loan Request Form as long as it is a circulating book.
