The library keeps reserve copies of many of the textbooks used in specific classes. Students can request these reserve books at the circulation desk and they can be checked out for 3 hours at a time. The library will also consider purchasing textbooks to add to our collection, so if we currently do not have a book, request it: https://www.nyit.edu/library/recommend_purchase
Students receive a generous allotment of print credit each year, which can be used for printing or copying

The Manhattan Library has 42 desktop PCs for student use. In addition, the entire library is covered by a wireless network.
At the NYIT Innovation Labs (iLabs), students from all disciplines can explore technologies and services that foster experimentation and collaboration. Areas of focus include 3-D printing, scanning, and design; virtual and augmented reality; electronics and programming; and multimedia production.
For more information about the iLabs and to see the iLabs tech workshops schedule, go to: https://www.nyit.edu/library/innovation_labs
The Manhattan Library has a wide array of tech items (chargers, laptops, camcorders, Raspberry Pi kits, and much more) available for checkout.
The library has two group study rooms, equipped with Mediscape workstations, available for patron use. Our group study rooms have white boards and the library lends markers and erasers.
