Making Music With Apps: Main

The New York Tech library has many items available for making music. However, since we've had to close the physical library during the COVID-19 pandemic, the librarians have compiled a list of alternative options that you can access from home.

Music Production

Getting Started

Many popular music equipment and software companies have made their products available for free download during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This guide will help you learn about these opportunities and explain their function. To get started, you'll need the following:

1. A computer device, such as tablet, laptop or smart phone.

2. Internet network connection (wired or wireless).

3. Email account (consider having both a personal and your college email account available).

4. A cloud storage device or external drive for saving files.

5. A pair of headphones.

Once you have those items/services you can begin!
