Tips on Using Google Scholar

  • Make your profile public, so that it appears in Google Scholar results when people search for your name.
  • A statistical model is used to try to tell different authors apart - you need to double-check whether the articles attached to your profile are really yours.
  • It is a profiling system, not a registry and, as such, it attributes to authors no unique alphanumeric identifiers.
