Advertising Age, long considered "the leading global source of news, intelligence and conversation for the marketing and media community", includes a section devoted to marketing in the digital sphere. This section covers everything from email marketing, banner ads, search engine optimization, mobile marketing and anything else bubbling up in the area of digital marketing.

Adweek is a longtime player in the coverage of marketing news from the traditional to the digital. Check out their "Technology" section for content devoted to digital marketing info.

Established in 1937, the AMA, "one of the largest marketing associations in the world" has a section of their site devoted to content concerning "expert insights and educational opportunities on the full spectrum of digital topics, from social media and mobile marketing to online research and programmatic buying".

Click Z is a comprehensive news source about marketing on all platforms including digital and social media marketing.

Complete Pulse is an insightful blog with articles and videos, containing information and data on all things in the marketing digisphere, brought to you by the marketing intelligence based company, Complete.

The blogspace of media measuring giant, comScore, on a wealth of  articles on a variety of marketing topics.

The website for the Content Marketing Institute has a variety of resources devoted to the practice of content marketing. The site contains articles, magazine, podcasts and other resources related to content marketing.

Digital Marketing Depot is a "resource center for digital marketing strategies and tactics". This site features "hosted White Papers and E-Books, original research, and webcasts on digital marketing topics".

Direct Marketing News is a "provider of digital and data-driven marketing analysis, research, and content".

Most of the information at eMarketer is subscripton-based, but a quick scroll to the bottom of the home page will reveal a free daily newsletter and articles with useful information.

Blog sight from one of the top marketing research firms, Forester, containing bits of useful marketing data and insights from top analysts.

iMedia Connection is a marketing community covering all aspects of marketing including social media, mobile, video, web analytics, SEO, media planning and more.


MarketingCharts is a Watershed Publishing website and newsletter published daily to serve the needs of marketing professionals looking for the latest trends and data. This site is really useful for visuals concerning marketing based data.

Sibling source to Search Engine Land, Marketing Land "is a daily publication that covers all aspects of the digital marketing industry". Articles and features are contributed by subject matter experts across all digital marketing.

Media Post is an "integrated publishing and content company whose mission is to provide a complete array of resources for media, marketing and advertising professionals". Much focus is put in online media, mobile marketing and other digital related venues.

Articles and news from the media metrics gurus at Nielsen. Insights has an abundance of news for marketers in all forms, even digital marketers.

The Pew Research Center is "A nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping America and the world.” The Pew site has a wealth of data that can be parsed in to a gold mine of marketing researchers, for the intrepid marketer.
