Preclinical Resources

This comprehensive guide highlights preclinical resources relevant to BMS, OMS I, and OMS II.

Long Island

Besides the library first floor at Rockefeller building, students have access to several other study areas listed below:

  • Serota Academic Center | M-F 9 a.m. - 2 a.m.; Saturday (By ID card only) 9 a.m. - 2 a.m.; Sunday (By ID card only) 1p.m. - 2 a.m.
    • William Roger Silent Study Space
    • Mollie Rogers  Auditorium
    • Serota Conference Rooms (During Free Time)
  • W. Kenneth Riland D.O. Academic Health Care Center, 2nd Floor Cafeteria | Monday–Friday 7 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Sunday 1 p.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Nelson A. Rockefeller Academic Center | Monday–Friday 7 a.m. to Midnight; Saturday 9 a.m. to Midnight; Sunday 1 p.m. to Midnight
    • DPC
    • Multi-Purpose Rooms ( Lower level of the building, when there is no class in session)

Building hours may be modified based upon holiday and vacation schedules. Exceptions to the hours must be specifically arranged.

 

Arkansas

The Arkansas Library (1st floor, Room 147) has several accessible work spaces, including the following:

  • Ten Adjustable Standing Desks (Two w/ Walking Pads)
  • Six Computer Stations (3 Macs/3 PCs)
  • Six Black Tablet Arm Chairs (Throughout Library)
  • Printing Work Space (w/ Office Supplies)
  • Quiet Study Area
    • Includes 8 Study Carrels
    • 2 Dry-Erase Boards

NYITCOM-AR students also have access to the study rooms at Arkansas State's Dean B. Ellis Library. Check out their floor plans to find study spaces!
